LIZ KALAF is an experienced and reliable pro photographer providing exceptional photography and outstanding customer service to real estate agents, architects, office design & fitout specialists, property developers, property owners, corporate businesses, and event organisers in and around Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
Liz originated from Melbourne, and moved to Sydney with her family as a young girl, and spent most of her life there. She was educated at Abbotsleigh School for Girls and then completed her Higher School Certificate at Barker College on the north shore of Sydney.
After graduating from Sydney’s Metropolitan Business College, Liz spent a decade working in the administration and IT departments of various prestigious Sydney and International Law firms, before her decisive move into photography – turning her passion and hobby into a career.
After completing numerous photography courses, and assisting professional photographers, Liz took a ‘gap’ year traveling around Australia to delve into landscape and portrait photography, picking up contract work along the way. Liz settled in Cairns, in far north Queensland, and worked as a photographer on the Great Barrier Reef, and as a freelance photographer in and around Cairns. Two children later, and looking for more stability in her field, she was introduced to property photography. Her love of architecture and design, coupled with her computer technology skills lead her to become a prolific real estate photographer for some of the leading agents in Cairns, who appreciated Liz’s eye for detail, her perfectionist attitude, and her willingness to get the best out of every property.
Liz relocated to Newcastle, New South Wales, in mid 2008, and has steadily established her business, continuing to provide outstanding photography and customer service to reputable Real Estate agents, professionals & property owners throughout the Hunter and Port Stephens regions.
